Foreign Fill: Getting a Refill When Your Lashes Were Done Elsewhere

A foreign fill is a refill on a set applied by another lash artist. It's how you switch studios without starting over — when the existing set is in good enough condition to build on. Ours is $95, for sets within 14 days of application.

Why the window is shorter than a regular refill

With our own clients we know exactly what was applied and how. With a set we didn't do, we're assessing someone else's work: the curl, the weight, the adhesive, and the isolation. Past about two weeks, there's usually too little intact, well-placed work left to build a clean set on.

When a foreign fill isn't possible

Acceptance varies, and improper isolation can't be accepted. If extensions are glued across multiple natural lashes, refilling on top of that keeps the problem — and the tugging — in place. The honest answer in that case is a removal ($35) and a fresh full set, which gives you a healthy base and a set that actually lasts.

• Accepted: clean, well-isolated sets within 14 days with enough retention left
• Case-by-case: heavy grow-out, mixed curls, uneven density
• Not accepted: stuck lashes, damaged natural lashes, sets past the window

What a fresh start looks like

If you do need a new set, it's a good moment to reconsider the style. We'll map to your eye shape rather than continuing whatever was applied before — often the reason a previous set never quite looked right.
